Warranty
10-year warranty on cast iron parts against defects in material and workmanship.
5-year warranty for steel stoves against defects in material and workmanship.
Worn parts and replacements:
Vermiculite bricks, springs and distribution plate in the combustion chamber – ½ year.
Grilles: main grille, front door grille and sputtering combustion chamber grille – ½ year.
Glass – ½ year. Steel chimneys – 2 years.
In addition to Morsø’s 10-year product warranty, spare parts for wood-burning stoves supplied by Morsø are valid for up to 10 years after the discontinuation of the stove type.
The warranty period starts from the date of sale.
Warranty does not include:
Wear parts, i.e. parts that wear out during normal use (e.g. smoke diversion panels, grills, firebricks/plates, glass and sealing materials). The provisions of the Sales Act on defect liability apply to these items.
Corrosion can occur if the surface finish is not maintained or damaged. Such cases are not covered by the warranty. The provisions of the Sales Act on liability for defects also apply in this case.
Damage caused by improper installation and use, including applicable legislation and Morsø’s installation and firing instructions.
Disturbances due to local conditions, draught problems or chimney damage/failures.
Damage caused by overheating or misuse of fuel.
